According to a recent report by U.S. News & Report, the University of Minnesota ranks #29 in the "Best Global Universities." Among all the public universities in the United States, University of Minnesota ranks #9. Indeed, U of M is one of the best schools in the world. The strongest academic fields of the school include chemical engineering, psychology and mathematics. The University of Minnesota is also a very good research school for undergraduate opportunities. As mentioned in my previous posts, I've worked in a child psychology research lab. Throughout the semester, I learned that the professor I was working for was really influential in the field of child psychology. Half the materials and research papers I read for my child psychology class were written by her. This is exactly the reason why I love the U of M so much. The U of M provides me the chance to work with experts in different fields and gain valuable research experiences.
