Enjoy your summer in Minneapolis!

Are you staying here in Minneapolis during summer working or taking summer classes? Are you worried that there would be nothing to do in Minneapolis? Don't worry! There are a lot of fun places to go with affordable fees! Make sure to visit all of these great places around Minneapolis area and ENJOY YOUR SUMMER:)

 

  1. Walker Art Center

Walker Art Center is internationally renowned for its contemporary art collection, exhibits, performances, films, and programs with leading art world figures. While there, don’t miss the next-door Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, one of the largest urban sculpture parks. The garden’s centerpiece is Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen’s Spoonbridge and Cherry, which has become a Twin Cities icon.

2. Mill City Museum

Mill City Museum, located on the historic Mississippi Riverfront, was built into the ruins of what was once the world's largest flour mill. It's a great place to learn about the intertwined histories of flour industry, the river, and the city of Minneapolis!

3. Lake Calhoun

Lake Calhoun is the largest lake in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and part of the city's Chain of Lakes. Surrounded by city park land and circled by bike and walking trails, it is popular for many outdoor activities such as fishing, wind surfing, swimming, sailing, canoeing, walking, jogging, biking and roller- and in-line skating.
